Part of keeping up with technology is staying ahead of software updates, and, keeping up with studio trends. All this is gibberish is headed to a little rewiring of the studio this weekend to improve the listening quality with a better monitoring solution. 

Saturday night was a milestone.  I completed multiple final acoustic guitar tracks for four songs… And, of course, at the end of this session, I have finally achieved the best track recording technique yet…. All of the other tracks  sound “good” but these sound superior. Live and learn, I guess…. Proper mic technique finally achieved… When the album releases, see if you can guess which tracks I recorded….email me and I will tell you.   Farewell to the acoustic tracks, on the electric tracks. This will be fun.  Stractocatser and Hamer, here I come!

…the creation of music is a fool’s errand… i am that fool… this is where all can find out how this album came to be….today:  a new pieces of equipment was scheduled for pickup by yours truly this friday… percussion  loop editing and tracking this morning on “Heard It All Before,”  more chaos to follow on that tune!  Plans for tracking bass very soon with a coworker….
